Our firm’s knowledge of the healthcare industry is deep, with all of our lawyers devoting a substantial portion of their practice to serving healthcare clients. The firm’s senior lawyers include the former president and current board member of the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives, and the general counsel for multiple medical societies. 

We strive to meet all the legal needs of our healthcare clients, which include individual physicians, medical groups, medical societies, independent practice associations (IPAs) and healthcare technology companies.  We help individual physicians join large systems, and also help physicians break away from those systems to form startup medical groups.  We help healthcare clients navigate novel compliance issues in the constantly changing healthcare regulatory environment, such as healthcare technology companies navigating the corporate practice of medicine bar.  We assist with acquisitions by our healthcare clients, or with the acquisition of clients by other healthcare companies or private equity groups.  

When our healthcare clients become involved in a dispute–whether it be a breach of contract case, False Claims Act investigation, reimbursement dispute, or antitrust action among competitors–our litigators help them effectively and efficiently achieve their business goals related to that dispute.
