Leah Judge

Counsel

Leah Judge is Counsel at Kessenick Gamma.  Leah is an experienced litigator who has represented clients in both state and federal courts.  She has also worked closely with federal and state law enforcement agencies on government investigations into healthcare, procurement, and securities fraud.

Before joining Kessenick Gamma, Leah practiced at a litigation boutique in Oakland, where she represented clients in matters ranging from business and employment disputes, to Freedom of Information Act and False Claims Act cases.  Before that, Leah spent six years at Constantine Cannon, where her practice focused on investigating and litigating actions under the state and federal False Claims Acts.  She has particular expertise in healthcare-related matters, including matters involving the Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare billing, skilled nursing facilities, and home healthcare. 

Leah served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Christina A. Snyder of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  She earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Leah was born and raised in the Bay Area, and she lives in Oakland with her husband and son.  In a previous life, she built playgrounds with disadvantaged communities at a national non-profit.
