Larry has practiced law since 1970 when he graduated from Hasting College of the Law. He began his career with the Hassard Bonnington firm, representing the CMA and many physician clients. Larry joined the Hanson Bridgett firm in 1973 and was a partner for many years until he left in 2006 to form this law firm. Larry acts as legal counsel to many physician groups, and regularly advises in complex business transaction. Clients for which he serves as general counsel include the East Bay Medical Group, a multispecialty group of over two hundred physicians that provides physician coverage to the Alameda Health System and numerous hospital based physician groups, including radiology and pathology groups.
He has special expertise in all forms of health regulatory law as they affect the formation of physician business ventures, including Stark II, the federal anti-kickback law, and California equivalent statutes. He is past president of the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys and served as a board member for many years. He was awarded the highest AV peer rating by the Martindale Hubble Law directory and has been listed numerous times in The Best Lawyers in Northern California and as a super lawye by the “Northern California Super Lawyers.”
